Bring the Collector on-prem when it fits.
The AssetSentinel Collector is a small, opt-in agent for systems that can host one. It sends identifier-bearing observations to AssetSentinel on schedule, where they join the same reconciliation story as your CSV evidence.

Set the boundary first
Useful, narrow, and honest.
The Collector extends how evidence arrives. It does not change what AssetSentinel is or turn reconciliation into continuous monitoring.

How the host connects
Enrollment, then signed observations.
A signed machine path keeps the Collector separate from the human dashboard. The dashboard mints enrollment material; the host uses it to establish its credential.

Your tenant and runtime configuration matter.
The dashboard exposes the deployment image and instructions when they are available. Support for a particular host, image, or packaging path depends on that configuration — check before planning a rollout.
